Celebrating Artist Darryl Banks
Celebrating the birthday of artist Darryl Banks (June 7, 1964) with a couple of his Green Lantern covers (#98 and #99, May and June, 1998), where Kyle Rayner ended up in the 30th century of the Legion of Super-Heroes.
I was a big fan of the Post Zero Hour reboot of the LOSH. This story arc where the Legion end up in the present day DCU (which then led to Final Night) was somewhat of a departure from what was going on up to that point, but it still worked surprising well. Sadly, all of that got thrown out the window with Legion Lost, and I don't think the franchise recovered until Mark Waid came back and rebooted it again after Infinite Crisis.
