Celebrating artist
Sal Buscema on his birthday (January 26, 1936) with a couple of his
Sub-Mariner covers (
#34 and
#35, February and March, 1971), wherein Sub-Mariner joins forces with the Hulk and Silver Surfer (setting the stage for the Defenders, though Doctor Strange would replace Silver Surfer for a time).
Sadly Sal passed away just before his 90th birthday
