Happy Saint Patrick's Day With Dean and Jerry

To be fair, this isn't exactly a Saint Patrick's Day cover, but having Dean Martin and Jerry Lewis mess with a leprechaun seems like something good enough for the day...

...here, under this cover by Bob Oksner for the Adventures of Dean Martin and Jerry Lewis #36 (April, 1957).

A Deadly St. Patrick's Day

Have a happy St. Patrick's Day, but be careful to celebrate safely...

...that means no Poison Ivy, even if she is green, here on the cover to Batman: The Long Halloween #6 (May, 1997) by Tim Sale.

Happy St. Patrick's Day From Veronica

A Happy St. Patrick's Day to one and all!

A Happy Harley Saint Patrick's Day

A happy Saint Patrick's Day to one and all...

..but Harley Quinn doesn't need anyone's well wishes, as she got the pot of gold from the leprechaun (though he seems to have put up a fight)...

...here on the Frank Cho variant cover for Harley Quinn #71 (May, 2020).

Green Lantern's Leprechaun, Owen Cooley

It's a little green-on-green action, as Golden Age Green Lantern (Alan Scott) faces off against Owen Cooley, the leprechaun in All-American Comics #70 (January-February, 1946) by Alfred Bester and Paul Reinman in "Love At First Blight!".

Cooley ends up in America by accident, falls in with some crooks, learns Alan is Green Lantern, and even thinks Alan's driver, Doiby Dickles, is his uncle!

Alan isn't the only one who has seen leprechauns, as his JSA teammate, Wonder Woman did a few times, as did the Blue Devil!

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Happy St. Patrick's Day From Blue Devil

A hero with the alter ego of Daniel Patrick Cassidy, Blue Devil, would be a natural choice to celebrate St. Patrick's Day, and he did in Blue Devil #25 (June, 1986) by Gary Cohn, Dan Mishkin, Alan Kupperberg and Bill Collins, under a cover by Paris Cullins and Gary Martin.

In the "Happy St. Patty's Day" story, the weirdness magnet that is the magical and scientific mix that is Blue Devil, finds himself facing the Faerie Liberation Front (a band of terrorist leprechauns), who plan on taking a device from S.T.A.R. Labs that will turn Ireland back into a forest.

More of the inspired madness that is part of the 31 issue run of Blue Devil!

Happy St. Patrick's Day from Wonder Woman

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Wonder Woman celebrated the holiday back in Wonder Woman #14 (Fall, 1945) by being "Captured By Leprechauns" in a story by William Moulton Marston and H. G. Peter, with this story being reprinted in the Wonder Woman Archives #6 of 2010.

Etta Candy finds leprechauns while chasing after a squirrel that stole her last piece of candy, which leads Wonder Woman into a battle with the leprechauns, which results in Wonder Woman losing her memory for a time, as well as confronting a killer who tries to steal the jewels of Princess Elaine of Shamrock Land...

...with leprechauns Shaggy, Hoppy and Woggle returning in Sensation Comics #75 (March, 1948), along with Queen Moonbeam and her fairies (whom Wonder Woman encounters along the way).
