Red Sonja usually fought monsters and men, but occasionally fought sorcerers, like the evil Kulan-Gath (as shown in these two versions of
Red Sonja #12 (July, 2006, by
George Perez and
John Romita Jr).
But, Kulan Gath began his career in
Conan The Barbarian #14 (March, 1972), and faced Red Sonja (via possession) along with Spider-Man in
Marvel Team-Up #79 (March, 1979).
Kulan Gath would also return to fight the X-Men in
Uncanny X-Men #190 and
#191, February and March 1985, as well as the Avengers in
Avengers #28 through
#30, May to July, 2000.
